Where to Eat in Inverness?

ROCPOOL

Great Scottish ingredients, brought together in beautiful dishes with fresh flavours

One of the best restaurants in Inverness by far, is Rocpool. You’ll experience artfully plated food in a non-pretentious setting. Waiting staff are well versed in great service and the quality of food is exquisite. Modestly priced for such great quality.

Going for a lunchtime visit? Try one of their delicious cocktails…. I would go as far to say as they’re the best cocktails in town.

TWO SISTERS CAFE

Aromatic Coffee in a setting to watch the world go by…

This fantastic cafe is a little charm! It is tucked away just out of sight from the centre of Inverness.

Although a small premises, it more than makes up for its cosy setting with perfectly balanced coffee and indulgent pastries. You instantly feel like a regular, owing to the warm welcome from the baristas.

You may find you leave with more than you expected as they also have little trinkets of arts, crafts and gifts.

There are some prime position window seats if you love to watch the world go by.

One of the best coffees in town for sure!

IV10

Responsibly sourced, uncomplicated, delicious food and drink

Not Inverness, but we wanted to include this charming eatery in this selection. Located a 30 minute drive from The Old Manse, IV10 is based over on the Black Isle in Fortrose. It is one of those places where as soon as you walk in you just know it’s going to be good!

Fantastic local, thought out menus, truly makes this a hidden gem.

The owners took the knowledge they gained from their travels and applied it to their ethos of IV10. They serve quality food accessible to everyone in a relaxed, casual environment.

A definite visit if you are heading to the Black Isle.
